The Art of Material Contrast and Precision Craftsmanship

OUR STORY

A Guitar Made From a sardine Can

My design philosophy began in the small district of Bluntas, Jamaica ,driven by a powerful childhood memory. I watched my (late grandfather Hervin, After whom I have named a piece Hervins bar) build me a guitar out of scrap wood, old fishing line, and a discarded sardine can. To everyone else, it might be seen as debris. To me, it was a revelation. He thought me that true craftmanship lies in your ability to find beauty and soul where others see nothing. That moment instilled in me a lifelong respect for raw materials and a deep desire to be resourceful.

Bluntas Meets Global Luxury

Moving to the Uk in my teens exposed me to a breathtaking new world of design and materials. I became captivated by the prestine elegance of fine Itailian marbles, rare & exotic semi-precious stones and the dramatic beauty of hardwoods such as Zebrano and Wenge.

Bluntas Bespoke exits at the precise, striking intersection of these two worlds.

Curated Architectural Heritage & Global Stone

Now based in the Cambridgeshire countryside with more than 20 years of artisan expertise, my design ethos is defined by a bold juxtaposition. with my niche team of crafters we skilfully marry curated architectural heritage - weathered timbers rich in historical character, Patinated steel and striking objects, with the mirror-like, polished precision of premium global stones and rare fossilised Devonian marble.

It is the same spirit of resourcefulness my grandfather showed me in Jamaica, elevated to the highest form of British luxury.
